An industrial product manufacturer needed clear PET-G sheet with a thickness tolerance of +/- 0.005%. Local distributors were only able to guarantee a thickness tolerance of +/-10% as they were not able to obtain product with a tighter tolerance from their suppliers.
HighLine carried out trials over a number of production runs to verify that it was possible to consistently produce material within the required specification. Once process capability had been verified the customer was sampled with product that met their requirements.
