An industrial customer needed to laminate another substrate to the surface of clear PET-G sheet. Over many years the PET-G sheet supplied by distribution had been inconsistent for flatness, squareness and dimensional tolerance. These problems meant that the sheet often caused problems in their laminating equipment. The producer of the sheet had promised improvements many times but had failed to deliver on these promises.
HighLine went to the customer and discussed their needs in detail. We then developed a custom specification and test program to ensure that material consistently met the customer’s requirements. These improvements led to efficiency improvements for the customer.
